Friday 10th December 2021. The Elms School announced the results from its recent Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection. The report, released this week, stated that across all aspects of the ‘Educational Quality Inspection’, The Elms received the top finding of ‘Excellent’, stating that, “The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent.” Furthermore it stated that, all parts of the ‘Regulatory Compliance Inspection’ were ‘Met’ (results are either ‘Met’ or ‘Not Met’).

Chris Hattam, Headmaster at The Elms, commented: “We are absolutely delighted with the findings of this very recent inspection. This is a tremendous testament to the hard work and commitment of our staff, pupils, parents and governors, especially in these challenging times. I would encourage everyone to visit our website to download and read a copy of this report.” He went on to say: “We take a unique approach, with equal importance bestowed upon academic skills and preparation for a fulfilling life as part of a community. It is heartening to see that the ISI has recognised the excellence in both delivery and outcomes of our methods and acknowledges the success our pupils achieve as a result.

In other aspects of the inspection report it stated that the school met the standards for the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of pupils, and their welfare, health, and safety.  It also noted the highest possible level of satisfaction in relation to staff, management, premises, provision of information, complaint handling and leadership.
